1st Day: ZADAR

Arrival in ZADAR, a city of exceptional 3000-years old history and extremely valuable cultural heritage. Check in hotel . Zadar city tour with local guide: ROMAN FORUM, KING PETAR KREŠIMIR IV WATERFRONT, RAMPARTS, MONUMENTAL MAINLAND ENTRANCE (PORTA TERRAFERMA) OF MICHELE SANMICHELI FROM 1543 IN FOŠA PORT, ZADAR UNIVERSITY BUILDING, CHURCH OF ST. DONATUS – Patron of the City of Zadar, THE CHURCH OF ST. ANASTASIA – the Cathedral, THE GREETING TO THE SUN, SEA ORGAN, KALELARGA – the main and most famous street in Zadar is said to be older than the city itself. Dinner in the hotel. Welcome party. Overnight.


Breakfast in the hotel. Bus transfer to KRKA NP – an area of 109 square kilometers along the Krka River. The most outstanding monument is the FRANCISCAN MONASTERY on the tiny ISLE OF VISOVAC, set like a precious stone in the middle of a lake like widening in the river. The main attraction of the Krka NP is its seven waterfalls. The widest of these is ROŠKI SLAP, although SKRADINSKI BUK is the biggest and most well known. Continuing with bus to ŠIBENIK, city tour: ST. JACOB’S CATHEDRAL – UNESCO’s World Heritage, entirely built of stone, no other material being used, most famous by the row of 71 realistic sculptural portraits around the apses, RENAISSANCE TOWN HALL, THE PRINCE’S PALACE, COUNTY MUSEUM, MEDIEVAL MEDITERANEAN GARDEN OF ST LAWRENCE MONASTERY. Free time for lunch. Return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.


Breakfast in the hotel. Bus transfer to the island of Pag. Visit to the SALT FACTORY, CHEESE FACTORY with cheese tasting, PAG LACE GALLERY and presentation. The fact that Pag lace was first exhibited in 1880 speaks of its long tradition, and the exhibition took place at the World Exhibition in 1939 in New York. Empress Marie Theresa had a Pag lace-maker at her court in Vienna who made laces for the needs of the court. Continue to the town of Pag, guided tour. Free time for lunch. Bus transfer back to hotel. Dinner in hotel. Music and dancing. Overnight.

4th Day:

NINBreakfast, check out. Bus stransfer to NIN, the first Croatian Royal town. The medicinal mud locality (peloid) is located next to the famous QUEEN’S BEACH. The mud has been used for forty years in the therapy of various diseases. Guided tour: THE CHURCH OF THE HOLY CROSS – the smallest cathedral in the world, exhibition “The Gold and Silver of Nin” with exhibits: Juda’s silver coin, Pope Pius II ring, reliquaries of Nin patron saints from 8th-13th cent., a painting of the appearance of Our Lady and other, the bronze STATUE of the famous BISHOP GRGUR – “fulfills” the wishes of those who touch his big toe, THE BAPSTISTERY OF PRINCE VIŠESLAV. Free time for lunch. Return back home.
